Tarucca Technology B.V. is an Eindhoven-based company founded to solve one of the hardest problems in the energy transition: how to keep critical offshore infrastructure safe, efficient, and productive over its full intended lifetime.
We started with wind turbine blades — the single most expensive and hard-to-inspect component in a wind farm. Today we work across blades, mooring lines, and subsea power cables, applying the same core philosophy in each case: embed intelligence into the asset, give operators real insight, and eliminate unnecessary inspections and maintenance.
We are a small, focused team with deep expertise in three intersecting domains — AI and data science, photonic and optical sensing, and structural dynamics. We are part of the Dutch photonics ecosystem through PhotonDelta, active in offshore wind innovation consortia, and partnered with Eindhoven University of Technology for funded R&D.
We believe that the energy transition depends not just on building more renewable infrastructure, but on making that infrastructure smarter, more resilient, and longer-lived. That is what we are building.

Hans leads Tarucca's commercial strategy, partnerships, and business development. With a background spanning industrial systems, sensors, and technology ventures, he brings the perspective of someone who has seen infrastructure challenges from both the engineering and commercial side.
Jesse leads Tarucca's technical development — from sensor system design and data pipelines to AI model development and digital twin architecture. His expertise spans photonics, structural dynamics, and machine learning, giving Tarucca the rare ability to integrate deep physics understanding with cutting-edge data science.
Hernani drives Tarucca's data science and AI strategy. His expertise in machine learning, time-series analysis, and applied AI is at the core of how Tarucca turns raw sensor signals into operational intelligence. He ensures that Tarucca's models are rigorous, scalable, and genuinely useful in the field.
