How Tarucca Technology B.V. collects, uses and protects personal data on this website.

This is a draft template, not a legally reviewed document. It is written to reflect what this website actually does (the contact form, analytics and hosting described below), but it has not been checked by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before relying on it, especially given Tarucca's work with public-sector and enterprise clients.
1. Who we are
Tarucca Technology B.V. ("Tarucca", "we", "us") is registered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at LetsTalk@tarucca.com.
2. What data we collect
Contact form
When you submit the form on our Contact page, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, organisation, phone number (optional) and your message. This is sent to us via Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, and forwarded to our inbox.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, time on site, general location, referring site). This is collected automatically for every visitor.
Ask Tarucca widget
Questions typed into the "Ask Tarucca" chat widget are processed entirely in your browser against a static knowledge file. They are not sent to us, stored, or transmitted to any third party.
3. Why we process this data, and on what legal basis

4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. It may be processed by the following third-party service providers, acting as our processors:
- Formspree (contact form submissions) — a US-based service.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — website usage statistics.
- Vercel Inc. — hosting provider for this website.
Where these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on the following safeguards: Formspree relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as our processor; Vercel's Data Processing Addendum incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses (Module Two, controller-to-processor); Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision (EU) 2023/1795). We review these safeguards periodically as each provider's certifications and clauses can change.
5. How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted from our GA4 property.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

7. Cookies
When you first visit this site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics only loads and starts measuring after you click "Accept" — if you click "Decline" or close the banner without choosing, no analytics cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for tarucca.com, which will show the banner again. IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online transmission is ever fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
