Position: Human Resources Volunteer / Intern

Location: Eindhoven / Remote

We are looking for an Human Resource Volunteer / Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR daily activities.

HR Volunteer / Intern responsibilities include; assisting in drafting role descriptions, posting new positions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and updating our employee records with new hire information. Ultimately, you will assist in developing, organizing and then coordinating our HR policies and procedures.

If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in HR, by assisting in developing the foundations with regards to recruitment, employee development and reward in a Start-Up environment, we’d like to meet you. This opportunity will give you a deep insight and understanding concerning attracting and retaining desired talent in a startup ecosystem. 

Furthermore, you will have a high degree of creative freedom, operational flexibility and responsibility and will work within a small and fast-moving interdisciplinary team.

The role is based in Eindhoven. Commencement January 2022.

Responsibilities:

After a short orientation phase, your responsibilities will include;

• You will also work on the development of a scalable recruitment process and plan that reflects the dynamic nature of the contemporary job market and anticipates future staffing needs,

• You are part of a people organization project relating to employee engagement, learning and development,

• You support the recruitment process end-to-end (drafting job descriptions, posting on suitable sourcing channels, reviewing applications and getting involved in active search),

• You will play an active role shaping our employee journey including; attraction/recruitment, on-/off-boarding, performance management, employee relations and company culture,

• You support monitoring necessary processes & tools to ensure an efficient recruitment experience,

• You will research and contribute to possible organizational models,

• Contributing to the constant optimization and improvement of our employer branding, together with our Team,

• Participate in organizing company events and careers days.

Profile:

• Currently, enrolled as a full time student in Business Administration with focus on Human Resources, Psychology and/or relevant fields,

• Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting and a basic knowledge of labor legislation,

• First professional work experience in Human Resources or Personnel Development,

• You enjoy participating in the entire recruitment process and are enthusiastic in shaping the company culture,

• Furthermore, you approach things proactively and in a solution-oriented way,

• Good knowledge of the start-up scene and enthusiasm for the latest tech trends,

• You are energetic and an excellent team player with solution-oriented thinking and excellent communication skills,

• Good organizational and planning skills,

• Fluent in English,

• Availability; for at least three months.
